CHRISTOPHER BATH APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT GLOBAL FINANCE OF NORGINE

 LONDON, UK, 8 October 2014, 07:00 BST – Norgine B.V. today announced that Christopher Bath has been appointed Vice President Global Finance, effective 1 October 2014. Christopher will report to Chief Operating Officer, Peter Martin and serve as a member of the Norgine Executive Team.

 

Christopher joins from Shire plc, where he was Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. Christopher was previously Chief Financial Officer of a start-up specialist diagnostic imaging company, following ten years in the Healthcare Investment Banking team at N M Rothschild & Sons. He is a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and originally trained as a scientist, reading physics at Oxford.

 

Peter Martin, Chief Operating Officer said: “I’m delighted with Christopher’s appointment as VP of Global Finance. Christopher possesses the right blend of financial, business and science skills and experience that will be critical in his role, as we focus on achieving double digit growth and on working with partners to structure deals in a variety of ways that can meet both Norgine’s and our partners’ strategic objectives.”
